Tubacex
Prevention Policy

The Tubacex Group  prevention policy is summarised as follows:

Our  MISSION statement pledges that the people working in our group are one of the company’s main values: “We wish to develop both as professionals and human beings, while working in a pleasant and safe environment”.

  • In order to achieve this, the Company's directors set themselves the STRATEGIC OBJECTIVE of establishing and introducing an OCCUPATIONAL RISKS PREVENTION PROGRAMME to ensure a standardised working method. This PREVENTION PROGRAMME is implemented through the ANNUAL PLANS with specific targets and responsibilities.
  • As a result of those actions, we work in a much safer and satisfactory manner, which means there are not only fewer accidents, but we have achieved a better quality of working life and we are more environmentally friendly, both of which are fundamental aspects for the Company.  We also achieve better quality and productivity, which is in line with the new market requirements, as well as complying with current legislation and the other requirements that the company may take on voluntarily.
  • The target of the OCCUPATIONAL RISKS PREVENTION PROGRAMME is to ensure the continuous improvement of Prevention management in the Company, minimising the risks involved in our work.  This is achieved through a series of ongoing prevention activities, organised by the management in conjunction with the workers, aimed at preventing and avoiding any type of accidents at work and occupational diseases that can affect both the health of the workforce and production, installations and the environment.  As the latter would result in a loss of capital, they could affect people under slightly different circumstances.
  • Prevention and managing it through the OCCUPATIONAL RISKS PREVENTION PROGRAMME is the responsibility of, in accordance with the new Prevention of Occupational Risks Act, the whole management team from the Directors to the direct heads and will be applied to all of the Company’s activities (Production, Purchasing, Engineering, etc.).
  • The management team, in conjunction with the whole workforce, shall implemented the actions entrusted to them and ensure that they comply with the targets set, in the same way as they do into other management areas (Production, Quality, etc.).
  • The Occupational Risks Prevention Department is responsible for providing guidelines and monitoring these activities.
  • Prevention is a commitment and area that involves everybody and, therefore, we are all obliged to ensure we practice RISK PREVENTION in our day-to-day work, integrating it in our progression to ensure a SAFE work environment.  It is everyone's responsibility to take the necessary actions to promote this policy.
  • Achieving the objectives and commitments envisaged in this policy require the hard work and dedication of everyone and we therefore would like to thank the whole workforce for their collaboration as their contribution is essential to ensure the highest level of Production, Quality and Occupational Risk Prevention in this Company.
