TUBACEX Tubos Inoxidables has been officially approved by Shell Global Solutions

Shell certifies that the Supplier Technical Assessment Record for TAMAP Level-2 has been awarded to TUBACEX Tubos Inoxidables. This milestone shows the good health of the long-term relationship between Shell and TUBACEX , likewise TUBACEX commitment to be one of the key Shell partners in the future.



TUBACEX attended OSEA exhibition (Singapore, 29 November – 2 December) for the first time where the special «TUBACEX BEAT» event was held to present TUBACEX activity in South East Asia, one of the main focuses of TUBACEX’s geographic strategy – which included the opening of a sales office in Singapore last year.

With over 1,000 exhibitors from 48 countries, TUBACEX also attended ADIPEC (Abu Dhabi, 7-10 November), the leading exhibition related to oil & gas and petrochemical industry in Asia, with a corporate stand. In addition, the group held a meeting with customers to present the latest TUBACEX group’s developments and discuss business issues.

Also Metal-Expo’2016, the 22nd International Industrial Exhibition was Held on 8-11 November in Moscow, with TUBACEX presence. 530 Companies from 32 countries worldwide including steel producers, tubes and pipes manufacturers, steel products distributors, engineers, as well as equipment suppliers for all stages of ferrous and non-ferrous productions took part in the event.


ExxonMobil order for Furnace Hydrocraking Unit in France

Raffinerie de Gravenchon (Esso) placed an order with TUBACEX for the following components and services: bare tubes, finned tubes, return bends, flanges, weldolets and ingots in TP 347LN for the revamping of the existing furnace at the abovementioned refinery.

347 LN UNS S34751 is specified as reducing the probability of PASCC polythionic acid stress corrosion cracking and TAN corrosion. ExxonMobil did install TUBACEX 347LN tubes and fittings in the previous turn-around at the ExxonMobil’s Rotterdam refinery and the material is performing even better than expected. Technip awarded by Woodside large subsea contract for Greater Enfield development

Technip has been awarded a large subsea contract by Woodside to support the development of the Greater Enfield Project offshore Western Australia, at a water depth between 340 and 850 meters. The contract covers project management, design, engineering, procurement, installation and pre-commissioning (EPIC) including umbilical tubes (dynamic and static) provided by TUBACEX. Despite the harsh market conditions linked to low barrel oil prices TTI has been awarded an order of 28Cr OCTG pipes for LUKOIL Usinskneftegaz located in Komi Republic (Russia). This project is evidence of the strong marketing approach and competitive product portfolio. Source: TUBACEX.
