Umbilical order for Schoeller Bleckmann Edelstahlrohr

BP Exploration (Delta) Limited, UK has ordered approximately 100 km of static umbilicals and associated accessories from Nexans for the next stage of the West Nile Delta project. This major contract will help BP, and partner DEA (Deutsche Erdoel AG), develop the Giza, Fayoum and Raven gas condensate fields and for future discovered and undiscovered resources in the BP and DEA concessions, which are between 65 km and 85 km from the coast of Alexandria, off the North Coast of the Arab Republic of Egypt. The delivery will be in 2018, and the seamless stainless tubes for the umbilical will be supplied by Schoeller Bleckmann Edelstahlrohr.

Merge between Technip and FMC, creating a new company named TechnipFMC

Technip and FMC Technologies Inc. will combine to form TechnipFMC, in a move the two companies said will create a «comprehensive flexible offer across each market from concept to project delivery and beyond». The resulting company will be valued at $13 billion. With more than 49,000 employees operating in more than 45 countries, TechnipFMC generated 2015 combined revenue of approximately $20 billion and combined 2015 EBITDA of approximately $2.4 billion. As of March 31, 2016, both companies together had consolidated a backlog of approximately $20 billion. Both companies are in a prominent place on TUBACEX customer portfolio.

Heat exchanger orders in Iran for TUBACEX India

TUBACEX India has received a new order for Heat exchangers for the Iranian market from one of the biggest static equipment manufacturers in Iran - FATEH SANAT. This order constitutes an excellent reference in the Heat exchanger segment, where another relevant order for the Iranian market (for MAPNA BOILERS) is being shipped.

For the first time TUBACEX also took part in EGYPS 2017, an exhibition which brought together Egyptian and North African government representatives, key project owners, NOCs and IOCs, international service providers, EPC contractors, consultants and financiers to address the evolving opportunities in the Egyptian and North African energy arena. Several relevant projects like Zohr or West Nile Delta Projects, where TUBACEX is supplying tubular products, are in progress in Egypt and further developments are expected.
