Corporate social responsibility

Corporate Social Responsibility at TUBACEX is linked to the company’s mission. In this sense, the mission incorporates its commitment to stakeholders including respect for the environment, the development of society, the professional advancement of workers, and customer satisfaction. This commitment was formally ratified in 2004 with the adherence to the United Nations Global Compact and its 10 universal principles, reporting annually on its progress in each of them.

A further step in the company’s and its professionals’ responsible behavior is its Corporate Social Responsibility Policy, approved in 2014 by the TUBACEX Board of Directors with the objective of establishing a framework in which to develop its activities and enhance its corporate commitment. This policy covers economic, environmental, corporate governance, and social aspects. The Group materializes its commitment to the major challenges of sustainable development, channeled through the 2030 agenda and its Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Regarding social commitment, it is worth highlighting the establishment of the TUBACEX Foundation as an entity to channel the commitment to quality training, diverse talent, and the promotion of developing regions, and as a lever to drive the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals.
