Umbilicals for Equinor‘s Johan Sverdrup phase 2
Tubacex Group has won an order to provide Umbilical tubes for Johan Sverdrup phase 2 project. In addition to construction of a new processing platform (P2), the development will also include modifications of the riser platform, five subsea systems, and preparations for power supply from shore to the Utsira High. The phase 2 start-up is scheduled in 2022.

Umbilicals for Julimar project
Tubacex Group will provide umbilical tubes to Woodside petroleum for Julimar gas field, in Australia. The project will be developed through a subsea gas gathering system and pipeline that will tie into one of the platforms at the Wheatstone project.
The subsea production system comprises a large collection of wellheads and Christmas trees, along with manifolds.

Pipes for tower and SGS area of
NOORo 3 project
Tubacex Group will supply with pipes to NOORo 3 project, located in Ouarzazate Solar Complex in Morocco. This is the third project for the Moroccan Agency for Solar Energy (MASEN) and consists of a CSP tower, with a capacity of
150 MW and 7 hours’ storage to be developed on a Build, Own, Operate and Transfer (BOOT) basis.

TechnipFMC plans to split into two companies
TechnipFMC plans to split into RemainCo, a fully integrated technology and services provider; and SpinCo, an engineering and construction (E&C) company. According to the company, TechnipFMC's exceptional performance since the merger (Technip and FMC Technologies in 2017) has made the proposed split possible and, once completed, will enable the two companies to free up additional value.

Aker Group and World Economic Forum Launch Technology Center for Ocean and Environment
Aker group and the World Economic Forum (WEF) announced the establishment of the Centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution Norway (C4IR Norway), dedicated to harnessing the advances of technology to preserve the ocean and improve the environmental footprint of ocean industries. The Center will provide a platform for partnerships on governance policies, research and business solutions that can accelerate the application of science, data and technology in the public interest. It will be an independent non-profit foundation, initially financed by the Aker Group founding partner.
