	Package for Rabigh 3 IWP Tubacex Group has won an order to provide a duplex & superduplex package compounded of seamless and welded tube, butt welding fittings, forged fittings and flanges for Rabigh 3 Independent Water Project. Rabigh 3 IWP will consist of a desalination plant using reverse osmosis technology to yield a capacity of 600,000 cubic meters a day. It is expected to start operating on 31st December 2021
	Boiler tubes for Shuangwei coal-fired power plant Tubacex Group has won an order to supply boiler tubes to Babcock&Wilcox for Shuangwei coal-fired power plant in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, China. The plant will have 2 ultra-supercritical units of 1000MW each. B&W is one of the five suppliers that can produce USC boilers in China. Their annual capacity is around 3~4 GW. Tubacex Group has a long-term relationship and holds over 90% market share in their procurement of super stainless tubes.

Van Leeuwen acquires Benteler Distribution The Van Leeuwen Pipe and Tube Group announced it had successfully completed the acquisition of Benteler Distribution, a division of Benteler International AG. All necessary approvals from relevant regulatory authorities have been received to close the transaction. Adding Benteler Distribution to the Van Leeuwen network provides Van Leeuwen access to additional key markets in Europe and improves its position as a distributor of pipe and tube materials in Europe. The integration of the Benteler Distribution companies within the Van Leeuwen Pipe and Tube Group starts as of December 2019.	Acerinox to acquire VDM Metals Holding GmbH Acerinox, S.A., a global stainless-steel manufacturer with headquarters in Spain, has reached an agreement for the acquisition of VDM Metals Holding GmbH (VDM Metals) from Lindsay Goldberg Vogel GmbH and Falcon Metals BV. With this deal, the Acerinox Group is looking to diversify into higher added value sectors. VDM Metals represents a great opportunity for Acerinox to grow into new markets and sectors such as: aerospace, chemical industry, medical industry, oil and gas, and renewable energies, water treatment, and emissions control. The deal has concluded in the acquisition agreement valued at €532 M. The incorporation of VDM Metals to the Acerinox Group will increase net sales and EBITDA by over 20%.

Adipec Petroleum Exhibition & Conference Tubacex Group attended Adipec Petroleum Exhibition and Conference held in Abu Dhabi from November 11th to 14th. This event is one of the largest Oil & Gas events in the Middle East and North Africa with over 2200 companies exhibiting, 11,000 delegates, more than 1000 speakers and 145,000 attendees. The 2020 exhibition will be held in Abu Dhabi from 9th to 12th November.	Stainless steel world The eleventh edition of the SSW conference & exhibition took place from 26th to 28th November in Maastricht, the Netherlands. Tubacex attended with a booth and contacted with stainless steel professionals from all areas of the industry, from mills and processers to stockists and suppliers, likewise from end users and engineering companies to consultants and corrosion experts.
