“Among all, safety first”
The protection of health and safety at work is a top and non-negotiable priority for the Tubacex Group. Fully aware of the impact and risks of its activities, its priority is to carry out its regular operations in a safe environment.
Tubacex considers the safety and health of people as one of its highest priorities, promoting a preventive culture where each collaborator actively participates. As a result of this work, all production centers have obtained the OHSAS 18001 certification.
The Group has specific management processes, corporate policies, and action plans to minimize the impact of its activities on human teams. The main business units have been certified with ISO 45001, one of the most demanding in terms of safety and health. There are also specific training programs in awareness, communication plans aimed at promoting preventive observations, and continuous analysis of incidents and causes that have helped improve actions and indicators in Safety and Health. Each business unit develops specific plans complemented by corporate-level initiatives. In short, a series of participative actions in prevention driven by Management and with the involvement of all collaborators. The commitments for 2030 in this area are:
- Certify 100% of the plants with ISO 45000.
- Reduce accident rates by 75% by 2030.
