At Tubacex, sustainability is not only a strategic pillar — it is a purpose. With a firm belief that industrial progress must go hand in hand with social progress, the company continues to strengthen its social initiatives through the Tubacex Foundation, the key instrument of its corporate social responsibility strategy.
In a recent interview with the platform Corresponsables, the Group’s Chief Sustainability Officer, Nagore Larrea, highlighted the growing role of the Foundation in supporting communities where Tubacex operates. “We want to generate value not only for our customers, but also for society. The Foundation allows us to do that in a structured, impactful way,” she explained.
The Foundation focuses its efforts on four main areas:
- Education: Promoting access to training and STEM careers.
- Employability: Supporting vulnerable groups through training and employment programs.
- Social inclusion: Collaborating with NGOs to improve living conditions for disadvantaged populations.
- Youth empowerment: Facilitating scholarships and internships to foster talent.
Through these initiatives, the Foundation embodies Tubacex’s broader commitment to sustainability — one that goes beyond environmental goals to include positive and measurable social impact.
“Industry is a powerful lever for transformation,” added Larrea, “but it only creates real progress when it improves people’s lives.”
