At TUBACEX, diversity and inclusion are the cornerstones of our innovation and sustainable growth. We are committed to creating an equitable work environment, breaking down barriers related to gender, race, culture, or (dis)ability, and are dedicated to narrowing the wage gap.

This Wednesday, February 21st, we are excited to take part in the latest instalment of the “Women Of Steel” program, a pivotal event organized by the Spanish Steelmakers’ Association (UNESID). Themed “Bridging to Digitalization,” this initiative highlights the stories and experiences of women who are at the forefront of the Digital Transformation within the steel industry.

Our own IT department’s Inés García-Alzorriz stands out as one of the day’s main figures. Her commitment and hard work vividly showcase how TUBACEX embraces digital advancements in cybersecurity, automation, and Artificial Intelligence, thereby driving innovation and efficiency in our sector.

“Women of Steel: Bridging to Digitalization” not only acknowledges the talent and potential of women but also aims to inspire and attract more female talent to our field, in alignment with our vision for a more diverse, inclusive, and sustainable future.
