- Job description:The Plant Controller leads financial reporting processes, providing accurate and timely data management for a new plant in Durant, Oklahoma
- Key Responsibilities:
- Manage financial reporting for all functional areas including Production, Purchasing, and Sales
- Ensure controls support safeguarding company assets and providing accurate financial records.
- Perform balance sheet reviews, inventory and ledger reporting.
- Coordinate the periodic reporting of financial and operating results looking for opportunities to improve profitability.
- Manage the cost accounting system.
- Manage company policy and procedures.
- Ad hoc projects and reporting.
- Minimum Qualifications:
- Degree in Accounting or Finance, preferably advanced degrees and certifications
- 6-10 years of related experience in financial analysis, reporting and accounting leadership for a small or large business, preferably in manufacturing
- Strong track record of implementing internal controls and assimilating, educating and implementing cost accounting in a manufacturing environment
- A strong aptitude in financial analysis, as well as a technical foundation in accounting.
- Experience leading diverse global financial consolidations in an accurate and timely manner
- Outstanding communication and, interpersonal skills
- Able to develop relationships at all levels within an organization
- Experience in process improvement activities
