Josu Imaz holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from Tecnun, University of Navarra, has completed the PADE program at IESE, and holds an Executive MBA from the University of Mondragón. He has held top executive positions at Ampo and, over the past 13 years, at CAF (Construcciones y Auxiliar de Ferrocarriles), where he served as General Manager of the Rolling Stock Division, as well as Executive Chairman and later Vice Chairman of Solaris Bus & Coach, a leading European manufacturer of electric buses.

She holds a degree in Chemistry from the University of Oviedo and a Ph.D. Cum Laude in Chemical and Environmental Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV). Additionally, she has an Executive MBA from the European Business School and has completed the Board of Directors Program at ESADE.
Currently, she serves as Senior Vice President of Sustainability Strategy at CRH, a global leader in building materials, where she leads strategic shifts in sustainability and ESG, decarbonization, circularity, and the company’s transformation towards leadership in sustainable solutions across all its businesses and operating countries. She brings extensive international experience in the industry.
With over 29 years of experience, she has worked as an executive and a member of the management committee at Cementos Lemona and Cementos Portland Valderrivas. She has held various roles in the heavy manufacturing industry for cement and construction materials, including general management and expertise in commercial attention, quality, environment, sustainability, innovation, and production. She was the first female plant director in Spain and within her Group.
Throughout her career, she has been and continues to be an active member of numerous international associations, including the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD), Global Cement and Concrete Association (GCCA), and Cembureau, among others.
She is also an Independent Board Member at CELSA, where she serves on the Appointments, Remuneration, and Sustainability Committee. Additionally, she is a Trustee of the Tecnalia Foundation and a Proprietary Director at Aplicaciones Minerales.
Licenciada en Químicas por la Universidad de Oviedo y Doctora Cum Laude en Ingeniería Química y Medio Ambiente por la UPV. Cuenta con un Executive MBA por la Escuela Europea de Negocios y el Programa de Consejeros ESADE.
En la actualidad es Vicepresidente Senior de Estrategia de Sostenibilidad en CRH, líder mundial en productos de construcción, donde dirige los cambios estratégicos en sostenibilidad y ESG, en decarbonización y circularidad y la transformación de la compañía para ser líder en soluciones sostenibles, en todos los negocios y países donde opera, con una amplia experiencia internacional en la industria.
Con más de 29 años de experiencia, ha trabajado como ejecutiva y miembro del comité de dirección en Cementos Lemona y Cementos Portland Valderrivas, ha desarrollado diferentes funciones en la industria pesada de fabricación de cemento y materiales de construcción, en la dirección general y como experta en atención comercial, calidad, medio ambiente, sostenibilidad, innovación y producción, hasta ser la primera mujer directora de fábrica de España y de su Grupo. A lo largo de estos años ha sido y es miembro de numerosas asociaciones internacionales tales como World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD), Global Cement and Concrete Association (GCCA) y Cembureau, entre otras.

She is Senior Advisor at STJ, leading specialist Equity Capital Markets advisory; and Independent Director at Avalmadrid S.A., chairing the Audit Committee and the Appointments and Remunerations Committee. She is also a member of the Board of Directors of Allianz España, as well as chairwoman of its Audit Committee.
With more than 25 years-experience in the financial sector, she started her professional career at JP Morgan’s Capital Markets division in London. After that, she joined Credit Suisse Financial Products (later Credit Suisse First Boston), and in 2000 she moved to Morgan Stanley’s Structured Credit team where she became Executive Director. Upon her return to Spain, she joined Cajamadrid (later Bankia) where, after several executive positions, she became a staff member in the Office of the Chairman. Thereafter, she briefly took the role of CFO at Martinsa Fadesa and, later, she spent five years as a senior advisor at Apollo Management. She was a non-executive director at Hijos de J Barreras, a Vigo based shipyard that filed for creditor protection in 2019 and reached a successful Restructuring Agrement with financial creditors in 2020.

Con más de 25 años de experiencia en el sector financiero, inició su carrera profesional en la división de Capital Markets de JP Morgan en Londres. Después se unió a Credit Suisse Financial Products (más tarde Credit Suisse First Boston), y en el año 2000 pasó al equipo de Crédito Estructurado de Morgan Stanley. A su regreso a España, se incorporó a Cajamadrid donde, tras varios puestos ejecutivos, pasó a formar parte del Gabinete de Presidencia. Con posterioridad asumió brevemente el cargo de directora financiera corporativa en Martinsa Fadesa y, seguidamente, pasó cinco años como asesora senior en Apollo Management. Finalmente, ha sido consejera del astillero vigués Hijos de J Barreras, compañía que tras solicitar protección ante acreedores en 2019 validó un acuerdo de reestructuración con sus acreedores financieros en 2020.
Telecommunications Engineer from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya; MBA from ESIC-Business&Marketing School; Erasmus Mundus European Master in the Design and Management of Lifelong Learning Policies from the University College of London and PhD in Sociology of Education from the University of the Basque Country (UPV-EHU). She has the IC-A (Institute of Directors and Administrators) Certificate for Good Corporate Governance.
In the technological field, she has been a systems technician at Osakidetza-Basque Public Healthcare System and was responsible for computer science at Mendaro Hospital. She has participated in research projects in digital technology at Vicomtech (specialized technological center in Artificial Intelligence, Visual Computing and Interaction).
In the management area, she has served as transport and public works adviser to the Basque Government and as Secretary General of Confebask (Basque business organization). She is currently Executive Director at the EKI Foundation (Supply of Photovoltaic Installations in Sub-Saharan Africa), and member of the Board of Directors of I-DE Redes Eléctricas Inteligentes, S.A.U.
She has taught at Deusto Business School and at the Public University of the Basque Country (UPV-EHU). She is a member of the Governing Board of the University of Deusto and of the Executive Committee of UNESCO Etxea (Basque Association for UNESCO).

En el ámbito tecnológico, ha sido técnico de sistemas en Osakidetza-Servicio Vasco de Salud y responsable de informática del Hospital Comarcal de Mendaro. Ha participado en proyectos de investigación en tecnología digital en Vicomtech (centro tecnológico especializado en Artificial Intelligence, Visual Computing and Interaction).
En el ámbito de la gestión, ha ostentado el cargo de consejera de transportes y obras públicas del Gobierno Vasco y el de secretaria general de Confebask (organización empresarial vasca). En la actualidad es directora ejecutiva de la Fundación EKI (suministro de instalaciones fotovoltaicas en Africa sub-Sahariana), y consejera de I-DE Redes Eléctricas Inteligentes, S.A.U.

For over fifteen years, she has developed her professional activity as a consultant for estate management of property and financial assets from her organization in Luxembourg. She has been Director of various national and foreign companies, and is currently Vice-President of Inversiones Industriales Txindoki and Director of the Aristrain Corporation. She uses her entrepreneurial profile in sustainable projects in the energy sector, as instruments to favor development in the rural environment, promoting conversion programs in areas with low projection, to add economic viability through new management models. In this scenario, real estate actions also stand out, both in urban and rustic environments, contemplating the best practices in sustainability requirements and prioritizing the exploitation of the most favorable enclave for society.

Industrial Engineer. He began his professional career in Germany, as Project Director and Commercial Director in various industrial companies. Graduate in Economics. Honorary Doctorate from the University of Stuttgart (2008), he began his professional career as Head of Purchasing at Adam Opel AG in Rüsselsheim in 1979. Licenciada en Derecho y abogado del Ilustre Colegio de Abogados de Madrid. Es diplomada en Estudios Concursales por el ICAM y consejera de Hernández-Echevarría Abogados. Comenzó su carrera profesional en el Estudio Jurídico de Federico Puig, asesorando a los consejos rectores de diversas sociedades cooperativas. Acumula una dilatada experiencia como abogada procesalista en el ámbito civil y mercantil. Tiene una larga trayectoria profesional asesorando a grandes patrimonios familiares (“family-offices”) y fondos de inversión riesgo, tanto en las operaciones ordinarias del tráfico empresarial, como en adquisiciones extraordinarias. Ha prestado servicios en transacciones de materias primas (“commodities”), así como en el sector industrial e inmobiliario. Desempeña el cargo de secretario del consejo de administración de diferentes compañías.
Ingeniero de Caminos, Canales y Puertos. Ocupa en la actualidad el cargo de presidente del consejo de administración de CIE Automotive y Global Dominion Access así como consejero de Alba Corporación. Comenzó su andadura profesional como director en el Banco Bilbao entre los años 1979 y 1985. Tras un corto periodo como ingeniero freelance fue nombrado director general de Nerisa en 1988 donde permaneció hasta 1993 cuando se incorporó a SEAT como director de estrategia. En 1995 jugó un papel relevante en la creación de INSSEC, llegando a ser su consejero delegado y ocupando esta posición hasta 2010. Como presidente no ejecutivo de CIE AUTOMOTIVE está muy involucrado en la gestión estratégica y los aspectos financieros.

Ingeniero industrial. Inició su actividad profesional en Alemania, como director de proyectos y director comercial en varias compañías industriales. En 1991 crea la compañía Autokomp GmbH, que se dedica al desarrollo en el sector de automoción alemán de los negocios de varias empresas del País Vasco. En 1996 se integra en la recién creada Corporación Industrial Egaña (actualmente CIE Automotive), donde ocupa la Dirección Estratégica y Comercial. En 2002 asume la Dirección General de la unidad de negocio del metal y en 2005 es designado director general del Grupo. Es consejero de Geomanagement, APD Zona Norte y Vicinay Marine, así como consejero y vicepresidente ejecutivo de UNESID.

Ha pertenecido a la Comisión Artística del Museo Guggenheim así como a su Patronato. También ha pertenecido al Consejo APD Norte y al consejo ejecutivo de Confebask y SEA. Ha sido presidente del Círculo de Empresarios Vascos y de la Asociación de Licenciados de Económicas y Empresariales de la Universidad Comercial de Deusto. También ha sido consejero para IMQ.

En 1991, se incorporó a Microsoft Ibérica como directora de soporte técnico para trasladarse en 1996 a la matriz de la compañía en Redmond (EE.UU.) y trabajar conjuntamente con el CEO, Steve Ballmer, como directora de estrategia corporativa. En el año 2000 fue nombrada directora general mundial de ventas y marketing de Microsoft Partners y, en mayo de 2002, volvió a España para asumir la máxima responsabilidad de Microsoft Ibérica como presidenta ejecutiva de la compañía. En 2008 fue nombrada vicepresidenta de consumo para Europa.
El 1 de octubre de 2011 se incorporó a Siemens como presidenta ejecutiva en España, puesto que ha ocupado hasta diciembre de 2018. Además, tiene más de 10 años de experiencia como miembro del Consejo de Administración de empresas del IBEX 35, habiendo sido consejera de Banesto, Bolsas y Mercados Españoles, Acerinox y Bankinter. También ha sido la presidenta no ejecutiva de Siemens Gamesa.
